a friend by accident shared a drink with someone who has herpes in throat, can she gain herpes by that? how long will it take to show signs of herpes?
she let a friend take a sip from her water bottle and didn’t know her friend had that. She finished the water in the bottle. Please give good answers, she is worried. She had no cold sores and she is virgin.

My boyfriend gets cold sores but only occasionally. Can he pass them to me even if he does not have one at the time? In other words, is the herpes simplex virus contagious if there is not outbreak of cold sores? Thanks!

ok, if you get cold sores, and you give someone oral sex, but at the time that you give that person oral sex you don’t have any cold sores, your lips are clear, normal..can the person receiving oral sex get infected by hsv1 even though you don’t have any cold sores? i know its a bit confusing, but im a little puzzled by this..please help me out..

I was reading up online about the stages of cold sores (HSV1).is a cold sore still contagious on the final healing stage?I know its mostly contagious on the weeping stage but i want to know about the crusting stage and final healing stage if its contagious?

First off does having a cold sore mean you have herpes? Secondly can you be born with HSV1 because I have never kissed a girl or had sex and now I have a cold sore. Third how does HSV1 spread? Fourth are cold sores the only thing HSV1 can cause? Thx Guys?

i drank after someone with herpes hsv1 (without knowing until after obviously) i pierced their lip for them too, can you catch herpes hsv1 from touching their lip with your hands?? and can you catch it from drinking after them whast the chance???? and this was last night.

We both have HSV1. She manifests the symptoms through cold sores and at the moment i am not manifesting it. If i kiss her will i start manifesting it also? Will i show cold sores all of a sudden?

ok i have a cold sore. So does that mean I have herpes? I understand that there are different strains and that there are HSV1 and HSV2. but…if i just have a cold sore (which is considered herpes) does that mean when the cold sore goes away the “herpes” does too. I haven’t had oral sex so I couldn’t have that kind of herpes right? Did i get this from kissing? I’m pretty confused on this haha please help
