I have hsv2 on my genitals. however, my girlfriend does not. I am on daily valtrex, and we use condoms during sex. However, there is still small risk she could get it. That small risk has made me not want to go down on her out of fear she’ll get hsv2 down there and I could get it on my mouth. Is it possible to still get hsv2 on your mouth if you already have it on your genitals?

Also….is it common to pass hsv2 if she touches my penis, and then touches her face/vagina w/ out washing her hands immediatly after? I can’t get a clear answer on this. I mean, even when I put a condom on I still touch my penis somewhat to put the condom on too. Do I have to just carry hand sanitizer by the bed at all times???
