I have genital herpes and today after I got out of the shower, I came into my room and found my hamper spilled over and my dog chewing the dirty panties I had on right before my shower. I know dogs can get herpes from other dogs, but I’m just curious if a human infection can affect him in any way?

First off does having a cold sore mean you have herpes? Secondly can you be born with HSV1 because I have never kissed a girl or had sex and now I have a cold sore. Third how does HSV1 spread? Fourth are cold sores the only thing HSV1 can cause? Thx Guys?

I had sex with a woman that I think is infected. I don’t know if she had an outbreak or not–at least nothing too noticible. We used a condom but I hear that doesn’t help much against herpes.
I thought it would be funny if I cut off some of my herpes on my lip and put it in my cousin’s soup. What would happen to him if he digested herpes though?
Why does Herpes medicine can eliminate the simptoms but cant eliminate the herpes from the body?

Whats the reason that when you take a medicine for herpes , aciclovir or other , it helps you erasing the simptoms and put you healty again ,but it cant cure herpes ? Is not that the medicine goes throught your entire bloodstream and body ? why it cant eliminate the virus if it can eliminate it from the site of the sores ?
What happens if you have a herpes outbreak during your pregnany? I am 26 weeks pregnant and had an outbreak. I had my first outbreak a couple months before I became pregnant. Is there any risks in getting an outbreak during pregnancy? And is it ok to take valtrex? My doctor told me to take 3 grams a day. Just looking for other people’s experience on this.
